Information
The Royal Windsor Horse Show is a celebration of all things equestrian. It combines competition action with a spectacular venue set in the private gardens of Windsor Castle. It encompasses a huge variety of the sport’s events. These include the spectacular Land Rover Carriage Driving Grand Prix, National and International Show jumping competitions, dressage and polo plus extensive show classes, equestrian displays including the Musical Ride of the Household Cavalry, the Kings Troop Royal Horse Artillery and more. Alongside the three show arenas you will find over 200 shops, The Food and Drink Festival, restaurants, bars, a funfair and a 4 x 4 course. If that’s not enough, enjoy the beautiful grounds, you can walk and dine picnic style.

Please note Dogs are not allowed into the show ground.
The Temporary Campsite
The site facilities include freshwater points, wastewater and chemical waste disposal. All non-electric.
The site will be opening on Wednesday 14th at 11am running until Sunday 18th and the site closes at 6pm.
There is a possibility of toilet/washroom facilities being provided by RWHS but if so, they will be shared with other visitors that are not staying on the campsite, so you may well need to use your own caravan or motorhome facilities.
Minimum Stay 2 nights.

Go on a self-guided walk of Windsor and Eton. Map and directions with places of historical interest provided.

Try Cliveden House. Glorious grade 1 listed garden, set high upon the cliffs above the Thames.
The Air Forces Memorial at Runnymede commemorates by name over 20,000 airmen and women who were lost in the Second World War during operations from bases in the United Kingdom and North and Western Europe, who have no known graves. They served in Bomber, Fighter, Coastal, Transport, Flying Training and Maintenance Commands, and came from all parts of the commonwealth. Some were from countries in continental Europe which had been overrun, but whose airmen continued to fight in the ranks of the Royal Air Force.

Swimming
Bring your swimming costume.
There is also a spectacular Leisure pool in Windsor with its wave machine and a complex of water slides.
Cycling or Walking
Bring your bicycle or hire one locally. Windsor Great Park is a short distance away with car parking available on the outskirts; you will find a network of paved cycle tracks, which will take you past most of the attractions. You can also cycle or walk the Thames Path to the site of the 2012 Rowing Olympics at Dorney Lakes. Visit the house or stop for lunch at Dorney Courts walled garden centre restaurant. Our site information office in the event shelters will have maps available for your convenience
The Open Top sightseeing bus
This 45minute circular tour takes you to all the well-known sights in the area. You can hop on and hop off at any stop.
Legoland
Only a 15-minute drive from your site. Good for adults and children.

Windsor Castle.
The official residence of His Majesty the King
Windsor castle is the oldest and largest occupied castle in the world. First established by William the Conqueror in the 11th century. The King now spends some of his time here.
No visit to Windsor is complete without a tour of the Castle but please note The King maybe in residence so some of the castle may not be available to view. Pre-book online.

Booking Conditions
Bookings will be accepted from anyone owning a Caravan or Motorhome, but discounted site fees and the show discount code will only be available to Caravan & Motorhome Club Members, non members wishing to join please visit the following website:: www.caravanclub.co.uk/membership.
If you have a caravan or motorhome with a shipping length over 8 mtrs long please be sure to tick the box below. Failure to declare this may result in a pitch not being available for you.
For Thursday or Friday departures. Members must vacate their pitch by 12 Noon, permission to stay longer MAY be granted on the day, please speak to the campsite organisers.
At peak times when people arrive, there may be a queue at the water taps. We recommend that you bring a small supply of water to see you over this period.
Please note personal generators ARE permitted between the hours of 9am & 8pm. Maximum run time 3 hours.
CANCELLATIONS - If at a later date you have a good reason to cancel your booking, your fee will be refunded less an administration charge of £25. Absolutely NO refunds will be entertained after 31st March 2025
Please note: We welcome dogs on site (ON LEADS) but they are not permitted into the show.
The Buckinghamshire Centre of the Caravan & Motorhome Club or the Caravan & Motorhome Club cannot be held responsible for any Injury, Death, Loss or Damage or Destruction to any equipment including Cars, Caravans or Motorhomes whilst on the campsite.

A Polite Reminder
We would like to remind you that, for everyone's comfort, dogs must be kept on leads at all times on the campsite field, including outside your van.
Due to Caravan Club health and safety rules, we are not able to allow dogs inside the Colman shelter at any time.
For the comfort and safety of other ralliers, please ensure that children play ball games well away from the proximity of caravans and cars.
